About
My name is Andy Uhl and I’m a programmer/developer in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. After two and a half years at F+W Publications, I switched jobs and began working for Centric Consulting. I work with Classic ASP, ASP.NET and PHP for web development and Visual Basic.NET and Visual C#.NET for windows thick client development.
I’m a stickler for web standards and well-formatted code. I also strongly believe in the open source model of software development. I have benefited from the right to view and use published code and I like to return the favor when I have created something that is worth sharing.
Aside from web development, I enjoy sports of all kinds—especially baseball. I play softball on two teams and I used to play ice hockey when I was in college at The Ohio State University. I’m also a fantasy sports nut.
I am married; my wife’s name is Kara. We took our honeymoon in Europe; the picture at the top of the page is of me at the Colliseum in Rome, in case you were wondering. We also own a house in Ft. Thomas, KY. It’s 105 years old so there is always plenty of work to be done.
